Challenge: Stop blaming your circumstances or other people. Ask God to show you where you need to take responsibility, confess, and change direction.   Point #2 — Human Effort Cannot Fix What Only Surrender Can Resolve Truth: Sometimes we keep rowing harder when God is calling us to surrender. Challenge: What are you exhausted from trying to fix, control, or avoid? Stop fighting God and place it completely in His hands.   Point #3 — What Looks Like the End May Be God’s Rescue Truth: God’s grace does not always arrive in the form we expect. Challenge: Do not assume a difficult season means God has abandoned you. The very thing you want God to remove may be what He is using to rescue, redirect, and restore you.

Jonah: A Prophet, A Fish and A God of Grace Week 4 - When God Sends a Wake-Up Call Point #1 — God May Use a Storm to Get Our Attention Truth: The disruption in your life may be God’s gracious invitation to stop, listen, and return to Him. Challenge: Instead of only asking, “God, will You take this storm away?” ask, “God, what are You trying to awaken or change within me?”   Point #2 — The Direction We Choose Affects the People Around Us Truth: Your walk with God is personal, but it is never private, your obedience or disobedience will affect others. Challenge: Ask yourself, “Are the choices I am making helping the people around me draw closer to God or making their journey more difficult?”   Point #3 — It Is Time for the Church to Wake Up Truth: God did not save us merely to keep us comfortable; He saved us to carry the hope of Jesus to those around us. Challenge: Wake up, Church! Open your eyes to the people around you, step out of your comfort zone, and allow God to use your life to point someone toward Jesus. Closing Thought God sent the storm to awaken the prophet, but He also used the storm to reveal Himself to the sailors. What Jonah saw as an interruption, God was using as an opportunity.
